This article applies to customers with an active integration between Property Meld and RentCheck.
RentCheck allows you to set default Property Meld values that are automatically applied when creating Melds from inspection findings. These defaults help reduce the need to configure the same maintenance details each time a Meld is created.
Defaults You Can Set in RentCheck
You can configure default values for:
- Priority
- Work Type
- Category
These defaults are applied when a Meld is created from RentCheck.
Review Meld Details Before Creating the Meld
The default values provide a starting point, but you can review the applicable Meld details during the creation process in RentCheck before sending the Meld to Property Meld.
This allows you to make any necessary changes before the Meld is created.
Resident and Owner Notification Settings
Resident and owner notification preferences are not configured in RentCheck.
Property Meld manages maintenance notifications using your existing Property Meld notification settings and portal configuration.
Once the Meld is created, Property Meld determines which resident and owner notifications are sent based on those settings.
