As a property manager, you can now reduce notification noise and choose only the Melds you want to follow. This will remedy some of the current workarounds you may be using to reduce notifications.

Visit our Club Meld page to see a video illustration on how Meld Watchlist can reduce your notifications to only those you want to receive.

How Watchlist Logic Works

  • When a Watchlist is empty, all valid users are notified.
    • “Valid users” satisfy all of the following:
      • In at least one of the Meld’s property groups.
      • The Meld is assigned to them OR they have “View/Edit/Reassign Melds” permission.
      • Their applicable notification setting is enabled.
  • Invalid users are never notified for a meld.
  • When a watchlist is non-empty, no one outside the watchlist is notified for the Meld.
  • When a Meld is created, its watchlist is empty, so all valid users are notified.
  • When a coordinator is assigned/reassigned, that coordinator is added to the watchlist.
  • When a Meld is assigned/reassigned internally, those internal assignees are added to the watchlist.
  • When a reminder is assigned, those reminder assignees are added to the watchlist.
  • No one is ever automatically removed from the watchlist, except by workflows.
