Keeping the Property Meld mobile app updated ensures you have access to the latest improvements and bug fixes. Updates may be delivered through your device’s app store or directly within the Property Meld app.
Check Your Current App Version
To find the version currently installed on your device:
- Open the Property Meld mobile app.
- Navigate to your Profile.
- Locate the version number in the upper-right corner of the screen.
The first three number groups represent the app-store version. For example, in version v1.7.1.1, the app-store version is v1.7.1.
When contacting Property Meld Support about a mobile-app issue, please include the full version number shown on this screen.
Update the App Through Your App Store
Updates downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store may include new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
To ensure you are using the latest version:
- Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Search for Property Meld.
- Select Update if an update is available.
- Open the app after the update has finished installing.
Enabling automatic app updates in your device settings is also recommended.
Apply an In-App Update
Property Meld may also deliver smaller updates directly through the mobile app. These are sometimes called over-the-air updates.
When an update has finished downloading, you may see an Update Ready message asking you to restart the app.
Select Restart to close and reopen the app so the update can be applied.
If you select Ignore or dismiss the message, the update will still be applied the next time the app is fully closed and reopened.
You may see this message immediately after updating through the app store. This is normal and means an additional in-app update is ready to be installed.
Fully Restart the App
A full restart means completely closing the Property Meld app and then reopening it. Simply returning to your device’s home screen may leave the app running in the background.
After updating, fully close and reopen the app before checking whether the issue has been resolved.
Log Out and Back In
Logging out and signing back in clears locally stored app data and retrieves fresh information from Property Meld.
This may help when recent changes, such as updated permissions or property-group access, are not yet appearing in the mobile app.
