Magic Link gives residents a quick, password-free way to access their Property Meld account. Instead of logging in with a username and password, residents can request a secure link that is sent directly to their email. Clicking this link signs them in instantly.

Magic Link becomes available on December 1, 2025.

Residents who want a fast and simple way to login without using a password, and property management teams who want to reduce login friction and support requests.


How It Works

Residents can access their Property Meld account using Magic Link in two ways:

  1. Requesting access from the login page
    Residents choose Request Resident Access, receive a Magic Link email, and click the link to sign in.

  2. Using a fresh Magic Link sent with each Meld update
    When a Meld is updated, such as a new chat message or scheduling change, the resident receives an email with a fresh Magic Link that opens directly to the updated page. 

Note: Magic Links will expire after 7 days.


How Residents Request and Use a Magic Link

Step 1: Go to the login page

On the Property Meld login page, select Request Resident Access.

Step 2: Enter your email

Enter the email address associated with your resident account, submit the request, and you should see the screen shown below.

Step 3: Open the Magic Link email

Look for an email containing your Magic Access Link.

Step 4: Click to sign in

Select the button or link in the email to log directly into your account. From here, you can submit new Melds, review updates, or continue any active conversations.


Automatic Access Through Update Emails

Any time a Meld is updated, residents receive an email with the latest information and a fresh Magic Link. Clicking this link takes them straight to the updated Meld page.


Troubleshooting

I did not receive the email

  • Make sure you entered the correct email address.

  • Check your spam or junk folder.

  • If nothing arrives, contact your property management team to confirm which email is connected to your resident profile.

The link opens the wrong page

Be sure to use the most recent email. Update emails always contain a new Magic Link tied to the latest activity.
