Connecting with Vendors via Vendor Nexus

Vendor Nexus allows Property Management Companies (PMCs) to quickly find and connect with trusted maintenance vendors in their area. Once connected, vendors are added to your system and ready to receive Melds immediately.


Step 1: Request to Connect

When a PMC finds a vendor they’d like to work with, they can initiate a connection request directly from the vendor’s business profile.

  • The vendor receives the request along with the PMC’s contact details

  • Vendors may reach out to the PMC for clarification if needed

  • PMCs can also include a message as part of the request


Step 2: Vendor Acceptance

When the vendor clicks Accept, the connection is live and a few key actions are triggered automatically:

  • A vendor profile is created in Property Meld inside their Vendor Hub

  • A vendor record is added to your accounting system (AppFolio, Rent Manager, Buildium, or Rentvine)

    Note: Propertyware is the only integration that does not allow new vendors to sync into PAS

  • The PMC is notified, and Melds can now be assigned to the vendor immediately

  1. Search for vendors by category, city, state, ZIP, or vendor name

  2. View vendor details, including pricing, business documentation, services offered, and more

  3. Click “Connect with this vendor” to send the request

  4. Track the connection status directly within the vendor’s business profile
