Communicating on a Meld in Owner Hub - Owner

As an owner, refer to the article below for an overview of how to communicate on a Meld in Owner Hub.

NOTE: Owners will only be able to communicate with property managers and other owners using the Property Meld Chat feature. Owners will not be able to communicate with the residents or vendors using this feature.

 

How to Start a New Chat on a Meld

There are two ways to start a new chat on a Meld, see instructions for both below.

 

Start a Chat from Meld History Page

Step 1:

Click on the Meld History tab, then click Chat on the Meld you wish to communicate on.

Step 2:

In the chat window, type the desired message and click Send Message.

NOTE: Any previous conversation on the particular Meld will show in the chat window.

Start a Chat from Meld Details Page

Step 1:

Click on the Meld History tab, then click on the title of the Meld you wish to chat on.

Step 2:

From the Meld Details page click Chat, this will open the chat window. In the chat window, type the desired message and click Send Message.

NOTE: Any previous conversation on the particular Meld will show in the chat window.

How to Respond to a Chat

There are many ways to respond to chat in the Owner Hub, refer to sections below for instructions.

Chatting from the Messages Dashboard

Messages sent by the property manager and other owners will appear on the Dashboard under the Messages tab.

Step 1:

Click on Dashboard, then click on the Messages tab. Click Chat on the specific conversation you wish to respond to.

Step 2:

In the Chat window, type the desired message and click Send Message.

NOTE: Any previous conversation on the particular Meld will show in the chat window.

Chatting from the Approval Requests Dashboard

The Approval Requests Dashboard shows any incoming approval requests. If you are trying to manage incoming approval requests refer to Approving or Rejecting Work Requests in Owner Hub - Owner.

Step 1:

Click Dashboard, then click Approval Requests, then click Chat on the Meld you wish to respond on.

Step 2:

In the Chat window, type the desired message and click Send Message.

NOTE: Any previous conversation on the particular Meld will show in the chat window.

Chatting from Meld Details Page

Step 1:

Click on the Meld History tab, then click on the title of the Meld you wish to chat on. This will open the Meld Details page.
