Streamlining Vendor Communication: Effortless Language Switching in Meld Chat

Property Meld allows vendors to easily switch between languages for smooth communication within a Meld. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for changing your preferred language on both mobile and desktop platforms.

Step 1: Selecting Your Preferred Language

As a vendor, you can select your preferred language for sending and receiving chat messages within a Meld. This option will appear when you first access your Property Meld account.

Mobile View:

  • Upon first login, you will be prompted to choose your preferred language.

Desktop View:

  • Similarly, you will be prompted to select a language the first time you log in on a desktop.

Step 2: Changing Your Language Settings Later

If you wish to change your language after the initial setup:

  1. Click the Company Name in the top-right corner from any screen.
  2. Select "Account Settings."
  3. Navigate to the Language section and choose your preferred language.
  4. Click "Save Changes" to apply the update.

Mobile View:

  • Follow the same steps by accessing Account Settings from your mobile device and updating the language settings.

Desktop View:

  • The process is identical for desktop users, with the Language option under Account Settings.

Step 3: Translating Chat Messages Within a Meld

Once you've chosen your preferred language, Property Meld will allow you to translate chat messages within any active Meld.

  1. Navigate to the chat section within a Meld.
  2. Beneath each message, you’ll see an option to translate the message into your preferred language.
  3. If you need to revert the message back to English, simply click the "Cancel" button to return the message to its original language.

Mobile View:

  • Access the chat messages and use the translate option for each message.

Desktop View:

  • Follow the same process on a desktop to translate or revert chat messages.
