Easily connect your inspections with your maintenance workflow.
The zInspector integration with Property Meld allows for seamless syncing of property and unit data, and enables automatic creation of Melds based on inspection results. Whether you're syncing properties from your accounting software or using zInspector to document unit conditions, this integration keeps your data consistent and your team efficient. In this article, we'll walk you through how the integration works and how to get the most out of it.
Automatic Meld Generation
Melds in Property Meld are automatically generated based on your inspection results in zInspector.
Key Details:
-
Manual Tasks Do Not Sync: Creating a task manually in zInspector will not create a Meld in Property Meld.
IMPORTANT: Melds created through the zInspector integration will default to “No” for notifying residents. If there’s a zInspector-generated Meld where you’d like residents to be notified, you’ll need to manually add them after the Meld has synced over to Property Meld.
For step-by-step instructions, check out the Add/Remove Residents on a Meld article.
Property Sync Overview
The integration between Property Meld and zInspector keeps your property and unit data aligned automatically:
-
Automatic Syncing: zInspector syncs property/unit data from Property Meld every few hours.
-
Dual Integration Support: If you're also integrated with property accounting software (AppFolio, Rent Manager, Propertyware, or Buildium), zInspector will sync data from both platforms, matching records to avoid duplicates.
Important: If you're new to zInspector and use one of the accounting integration partners listed above, we recommend syncing with that platform before syncing with Property Meld.
