Take control and keep things moving! Property Managers can now jump in and create estimates on behalf of their vendors or technicians—no more waiting around. You also have the power to decide which internal team members can create or edit estimates, giving you greater flexibility and control over your workflow. Plus, estimates can now be created or requested even after a meld has been assigned, keeping things fluid. Need to add a little markup? Go for it—easily include markups when creating an estimate to cover your costs.
Creating Your Estimate
Step 1:
From the open Meld, click the Estimates tab.
Step 2:
Click Create Estimate.
Step 3:
Enter the estimate information and click Create Estimate.
Your Estimate is now created!
NOTE: When an estimate is created an behalf of a vendor, it will indicate under the Activity tab that it was submitted by the Manager. Under the Estimates tab, the invoice will indicate submitted by the vendor.
Adding Photos to your Estimate
Step 1:
With the Meld open, click the Estimates tab.
Step 2:
Click on View Estimate.
NOTE: the View Estimate option will be visible on either the "Pending Approval" on the owner card or the submitted estimate request prior to submitting for approval.

Step 3:
Click on Drop Files here or upload files from your device.
The uploaded file has now been added to the estimate.
