Projects are a collection of Melds associated with an overarching goal in mind (i.e Turnovers, Renovations, etc.). This article will cover the two ways to go about creating a new Project: from scratch, and via a Project Template.
Creating a New Project
Step 1:
Click Melds, Projects, then click Add Project.
Step 2:
Select/Fill out the following required fields:
- Type - Turn, Renovation, Other.
- Unit - Specify which Unit the Project is for.
- Name - The displayed name of the Project.
- Coordinators - The Internal Users that are assuming responsibility for the Project. Coordinators receive Project-specific notifications.
- Start Date - Date at which the Project and it's corresponding Melds are generated.
- Due Date - Date at which all corresponding Melds should be completed.
NOTE: Optionally, you may provide additional context/information in the Description field.
Step 3:
Click Create Project.
Creating a Project from a Template
Step 1:
Click Melds, then click Projects.
Step 2:
Click Templates.
Step 3:
Click Create Project.
NOTE: A Project Template must contain at least 1 Meld Template to be created.
Step 4:
Complete any missing required fields, then click Create Project.
Creating a Project from an Existing Meld
Step 1:
Click Melds, then click the title of the Meld you wish to create a Project with.
Step 2:
Click , then click Create Project.
Step 3:
Complete the required fields, then click Create Project.
