At the heart of Property Meld is the ability to easily communicate and track the status of your maintenance. A key component of this communication is email notifications.
We are excited to provide Managers, Coordinators, Technicians, and Vendors an entirely new experience with email notifications.
We improved and standardized the structure, content, and clarity which is pivotal to how you use email notifications.
- The subject line is more consistent (unit address) and clear (what happened) when viewing your inbox.
- The content in the email is more clear on what happened and what drove this notification.
- The action is identified and recommends what should be done resulting from the notification.
- The body of the email provides the same information across all notifications.

Tenant Text Notification Content (9/20)
- The content of text notifications received by Tenants has been restructured to be more consistent, readable, and transparent.
Work Logs Permissions (9/16)
- "Change other users work logs" has been added as a default permission for Admin and Agent User Roles.
- This permission is also available when creating a Custom Role.
- Refer to Creating Custom Roles and Setting Permissions for details.
- Maintenance Users are now only able to edit Work Logs that they've created.
- Refer to How to Log Time (Check In and Check Out) on a Meld for general information on Work Logs.
Vendor Melds View (9/16)
- While in the Vendors tab, Agent and Admin Users are now able to view all Melds assigned to a Vendor by clicking on a Vendor card, then clicking the Melds tab within the card.
Reminder Filters (9/16)
- Users are now able to filter by both 'Reminder Assigned To' and 'Reminder Date' (formerly 'Reminders').

Invoice Status Filter (9/16)
- Users are now able to filter by Invoice Status.

Invoices - Phone Number (9/16)
- A Vendor's company phone number is now displayed on their submitted Invoices.
Propertyware - Expense Items (9/16)
- With an enabled Propertyware integration, the expenditures editor dropdown will now show the full item information from Propertyware, including item number and category.
More Detailed Notification Preferences (9/5)
- Notification preferences have been updated to give the User more control over the specific types of notifications that they'd like to receive (Click Account Settings, then click Notifications). For example, the 'Successful Melds' notification that previously included Completed, Vendor Did Not Complete, and Canceled is now 3 separate notifications.
- Along with email notifications, Users can also toggle individual text message notifications on/off.
