The Best Practice and Examples of Tagging article provides definition and use of Meld Tags. The content of this article is specific to the basic management of Tags. Refer to Create, Assign, and Use Tags for details on assigning Tags to a Meld.
Step 1:
Click and click Account Settings.
Step 2:
Click Tags. All Tags that are currently assigned to your Melds are listed and include the Meld and Recurring Meld count assigned with the given Tag.
Click
on the Tag to expose the Rename tag and Delete tag actions available.NOTE: Refer to Assign and Use Tags which describes how a Tag is created at the time when it is assigned to a Meld. Tags are not created from this screen.
Step 3:
On the below example Owner Vendor Tag, click Rename tag which allows the ability to change the name of the Tag.
Step 4:
Start typing the new name of the Tag. Notice you will see a list of existing Tags presented while typing the new name.
NOTE: If you wish to merge an existing Tag with another Tag, you can select a Tag from the list instead of entering a new name. The merge operation will effectively remove the old Tag and any Melds with that Tag will alternatively be assigned the selected or merged Tag.
Step 5:
In this example, a Tag is being renamed from Owner Vendor to Owner is Vendor.
Click RENAME.
Step 6:
To delete the newly renamed Tag Owner is Vendor, click and click Delete tag to completely remove the Tag from all assigned Melds and Recurring Melds. This Tag will no longer appear in the available Tags when assigning to a Meld.
When presented with the Delete Tag confirmation, click DELETE.
Step 7:
There is a quick way to view all of the Melds or Recurring Melds where the specific Tag is assigned.
Click the Meld Count link (see numeric link highlighted below) next to the Tag of interest.
Step 8:
Clicking the link discussed in the previous step will automatically apply a Filter and display all of the Melds that were assigned the given Tag. This can be treated as a quick way to create a Filter based on the given Tag. Refer to How to Customize Filters and Dashboard for more detailed information on creating and managing Filters.
Step 9:
To see the criterion that was automatically selected from the previous step, click FILTER (as highlighted below) and apply the Tags criteria to Include the Tag Pending Owner Approval.
NOTE: At this point, the Filter can be Saved which would be specific to viewing all of the Melds with the Pending Owner Approved Tag assigned.
