Communicating with your Property Manager or the assigned Maintenance Technician on a Meld (work request) is simple and easy. Communication is supported through both email and text messaging.
Communicate Using Email or Text Message
IMPORTANT
Generally, the user can only "reply directly" to an email or text message if that message notification requires an action (ex. responded to picking a time) or is the result of a comment left on the Meld. The following screenshots demonstrate the content of a message that makes it clear when "replying directly" is allowed.

Communicate Using Meld Chat
Step 1:
From a Meld, click Chat.
Step 2:
It is highly recommended to select the recipient of the message before entering the new message.
- SEND MESSAGE TO Options
- Managers, Vendors, and Tenants
- Managers and Tenants
Step 3:
Enter a new message.
Refer to the Will be seen by a caption which provides an explicit list of actual users that will be notified.
Step 4:
Click SEND MESSAGE TO.
