Managing a single Property (and all associated Units) assigned to Property Group(s) is done by following the steps below. If multiple Properties need their Property Groups edited, follow the steps in this article: Manage Multiple (Bulk) Properties Assigned to Property Group(s).
NOTE: Only a Property can be assigned to a Property Group. A Unit cannot be assigned to a Property Group. For more information about Property Groups, review this article: Understanding and Using Property Groups.
Step 1:
Search for the Property or Unit Address using the Search Bar function. Select the Unit Address of choice, in this example, 525 University Loop, STE 101.
NOTE: By default, the Units are displayed in the Search Bar for quick access. When a Unit is selected, it is required to navigate to the Property in order to assign a Property Group. This step demonstrates this navigation. If you have the Property displayed, you can skip to Step 3.
Step 2:
Click the Property link.
Step 3:
Click and Edit
NOTE:
- In this example, this Property is already assigned to a Property Group.
- A Property can be assigned to one or more Property Groups.
Step 4:
Select a Property Group from the list. In this example, South Dakota Properties is selected.
NOTE: To remove a Property Group, click the x next to the Property Group.
Step 5:
Click SAVE.
NOTE: In this example, the screenshot displays the existing Property Group and the newly added South Dakota Properties.
NOTE: When the edit Property dialog box is dismissed, you will see the Property Group(s) reflected in the Property detail view.
