Here's what we'll cover:
How to Assign a Meld
NOTE: A Meld cannot be scheduled by an Agent if assigned to a Vendor.
Step 1a:
Click ASSIGN on the desired Meld.
Step 1b:
Or, open the Meld and click , then Assign Meld.
Step 2:
Click within the Choose a vendor or maintenance technician field to view your list of Maintenance Users.
NOTE: You cannot assign multiple Vendors or any combination of Maintenance Users and Vendors to a Meld.
Step 3:
Select the Maintenance User(s), then click SAVE.
How to Reassign a Meld
IMPORTANT
- If a Meld is reassigned to a Vendor, the appointment will be canceled and the Vendor will be prompted to schedule their own appointment time. If a Tenant is involved, they will be notified of the canceled appointment
- If a Meld is reassigned from one Maintenance User to another, the appointment will remain intact and will simply be reassigned. The Tenant will not be notified of any changes to the appointment.
Reassigning from the Meld
Step 1:
Click a Meld to Reassign.
Step 2:
Click 'Options' , then click Reassign.
Step 3a:
Click within the 'Choose a vendor or maintenance technician' field and select the desired Maintenance User(s) or Vendor.
NOTE: You cannot assign multiple Vendors or any combination of Maintenance Users and Vendors to the same Meld.
Step 3b:
Click SAVE.
NOTE:
- Both Vendors/Maintenance Users will be notified of the Meld reassignment.
- Any files or communication by the original Maintenance User(s) will not be accessible by the newly assigned Maintenance User(s).
Reassigning from the Calendar
Step 1:
Click Melds, then click Calendar.
Step 2:
Click the Meld either from the list on the left or from the calendar. If selecting from the calendar, click the Meld, then click EDIT.
Step 3:
Click Reassign.
Step 4a:
Click within the 'Choose a vendor or maintenance technician' field and select the desired Maintenance User(s) or Vendor.
Step 4b:
Click SAVE
