If the Vendor/Maintenance Technician is unable to accept any of the appointment windows that you initially provided, they have the ability to suggest additional appointment windows. This article will cover how to:
- Accept a new appointment window via text messaging
- Accept a new appointment window within the Property Meld application
- Update your requested appointment windows.
Accepting a new appointment window (Text)
Step 1:
If text messaging is enabled (e.g. opted-in), you will receive a notification to your mobile phone number as soon as the Vendor or Maintenance Technician provides additional appointment windows.
Step 2:
Reply with the number mentioned for the date and time that works for you and you will receive a notification that the Meld is now scheduled.
Accepting a new appointment window (in-app)
Step 1:
Click SCHEDULE.
Step 2:
Select one of the suggested appointment windows, then click SAVE.
NOTE:
- If none of these new appointment windows will work, click REQUEST MORE AVAILABILITY to suggest additional appointment windows to the Vendor/Maintenance Technician.
- The Vendor does not receive a notification with newly requested appointment window(s). It is recommended that you use Chat to inform the Vendor about the new appointment window(s) are being requested.
Updating your requested appointment windows
Step 1:
Within your Meld, click Change beneath 'Requested Appointment Time'.
Step 2:
Select your new appointment windows, then click SAVE.
NOTE: The Vendor does not receive a notification with newly requested appointment window(s). It is recommended that you use Chat to inform the Vendor about the new appointment window(s) are being requested.
