Managing your maintenance appointments in Property Meld is easy, whether you're accepting new appointment windows suggested by the Vendor or updating your own. This guide will walk you through how to accept or update appointment windows both via text message and within the Property Meld application.
Steps for Managing Scheduling:
Accepting a New Appointment Window via Text Message

Receive a Notification: If you have opted in for text messaging, you'll receive a notification on your mobile phone when the Vendor or Maintenance Technician provides additional appointment windows.

Respond with Your Choice: Reply to the text with the number corresponding to the date and time that works best for you. You’ll receive a confirmation that your appointment is now scheduled.
Accepting a New Appointment Window Within the Property Meld Application

Click "SCHEDULE": Within your Meld, click on the "SCHEDULE" button to see the available appointment windows.

Select and Save: Choose one of the suggested appointment windows and click "SAVE."
- Note: If none of the suggested times work for you, click "REQUEST MORE AVAILABILITY" to suggest additional appointment windows. The Vendor won’t receive a notification for these new windows, so it’s recommended to use the Chat feature to inform the Vendor about your updated request.
Updating Your Requested Appointment Windows

Change Requested Time: In your Meld, click "Change" beneath "Requested Appointment Time."

Select New Times: Choose your new appointment windows and click "SAVE."
- Note: Just like with requesting more availability, the Vendor won’t be notified automatically. Use the Chat feature to let them know that new appointment windows have been requested.
