As a resident using Property Meld, you will receive various notifications to keep you informed about maintenance requests and other important updates. These notifications can be sent via email, text, or both, depending on the type of notification and your preferences.
Notification Types and Delivery Methods

Resident Invite
- You will receive an email notification when you are invited to join Property Meld by your property manager.

New Meld Generated
- When a new maintenance request (Meld) is created for your property, you will receive notifications via both email and text message.

Meld Assigned
- When a maintenance coordinator or technician is assigned to your request, you will receive an email notification.

Meld Canceled by Manager
- If a manager cancels your maintenance request, you will receive an email notification.

Vendor Schedule Attempt
- You will be notified via both email and text message when a vendor attempts to schedule a service. Notifications are sent immediately, or at intervals such as 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, 32 hours, or 48 hours.

Appointment Confirmed
- When an appointment is confirmed, whether it's the initial appointment or a rescheduled one by vendors, you will receive notifications via both email and text message.

Appointment Reminder
- You will receive an email notification as a reminder before your appointment, typically 24 hours and 1 hour prior.

Repair Completion
- When a repair is completed, you will receive an email notification, which may include a survey to provide feedback on the service.

Feedback on Repair
- After the repair, you may receive an email requesting your feedback on the service provided.

Chat Messages
- Any time a new message is sent within a Meld chat, you will be notified via both email and text message.

Sharing Photos
- If your property manager or technician shares photos with you, you will receive an email notification.
Managing Your Notification Preferences
If you wish to customize the notifications you receive, follow these steps:

Log in to Your Property Meld Account
- Visit the Property Meld login page and enter your credentials.

- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Account Settings".

Update Notification Settings
- In the Account Settings page, navigate to "Notification Settings." Here, you can enable or disable email and text notifications based on your preferences.
