NOTE: This article only applies to Customers with an active integration between Property Meld and Rent Manager.
Property Meld has statuses and priorities assigned to Melds and Rent Manager has statuses and priorities assigned to Service Issues. This article demonstrates how to:
Map Property Meld Status to the corresponding Rent Manager Status.
Designate Statuses that will close a Service Issue in Rent Manager.
Map Priority to the corresponding Rent Manager Priority.
NOTE:
Status and Priority values are able to be customized in Rent Manager only.
Step 1:
To access Integration Settings, click and click Integrations.
Step 2:
Click Rent Manager card.
Step 3:
Click Melds tab.
Step 4:
Below Meld Statuses, for each Property Meld Status (on the left), select Rent Manager Status (drop-down on the right) to map the specific status between the systems.
NOTE:
The statuses displayed in the drop-down will be reflective of statuses you have available in your Rent Manager account and may vary from the below image.
Step 5:
Next to each Meld Status/Rent Manager Status, select which statuses will close service issues in your Rent Manager account.
NOTE:
Below are the default selections of statuses that will close service issues in Rent Manager.
If Service Issues do not appear to be closing at all in Rent Manager, even with the below checked, make sure you check your "propertymeld-api" user privileges. Close Issue and Close issue without a resolution should be checked and enabled. For more information on Rent Manager privileges, refer to Integration Process.
Step 6:
Below Meld Priorities (scroll down), for each Property Meld Priority (on the left), select Rent Manager Priority (drop-down on the right) to map the specific priority between the systems.
NOTE:
The priorities displayed in the drop-down will be reflective of priorities you have available in your Rent Manager account and may vary from the below image.
Step 7:
Below Meld Categories, for each Meld Category (on the left), select a corresponding Rent Manager Category (drop-down on the right) to map the specific Category between the systems.
